I have to say, that was one of the more satisfying turns I've taken in a long while. Better luck next time =D

Not really sure. I have known this game for my whole life, so I am quite familiar. But, you are no slouch yourself. I post up a lot of games, please join one when you get a chance.

Hey man, thanks for the concern. I've just been busy with the start of a new semester. 3 classes, starting my dissertation research, and have to teach 2 labs. I'm trying to keep up with my turns, but haven't really been joining new games lately =/.

Actually he came out with a one-off called "Empire" I think a few years ago and it shocked me. It wasn't the normal Card style and it had a twist that really was not in his usual ilk. It's a present day military novel about terrorism and Govenment conspiracies and stuff. Pretty darn good. I suggest "Heros Die" by Matthew Woodring Stover if you haven't read it. Really one of the most creative concepts and My Favorite anti-hero of all time. The sequel "Blade of Tyshal" is awesome too but in a totally different way. There is a 3rd "Cain: Blackknife" but only if you can't get enough of Cain (which I can't). Creates a whole world within a world and takes shots at pop culture, religious Zealots, the media and most of all, Hero Worship! Really, it's a great read and the opening scene alone will make you want to read the rest....it's brutally AWESOME!

Did you read Orson Scott Card's "Homebound" series and if so what did you think. I enjoyed the first one I think and kept reading but by the end of the second to last book I had lost all feeling of joy towards it and didn't even read the ending. Of course, the last book was set in the future without any of the original characters so I can't see how I missed anything. Just curious.

I have to say that was one of the more enjoyable wins I've had recently =D. I rolled decently well at the beginning, but your final 4 units killed off about 15 of mine. The map is uber-unbalanced against the 2nd player, and moreover is not at all about the connect-four strategy -- it's more about all-out attacking since it's a duel and abandon is on, which gives advantage to aggressive play. I think it would be improved by a limit on number of attacks per turn.

It was a good game while it lasted. We kept the balance quite well for a long time -- it's always precarious trying to maintain a 3-way equilibrium.

I almost didn't make the request, as I figured it might be too much for some people.

Hey, if you have an idea for a Romania map I will gladly keep mine unreleased. It's nothing special, it was just a simple map to get used to the design tool and it has nothing special about it. If you have one that you wanna do I'm totally cool not releasing and ending the review but just let me know.
